Rashid has learned he has prostate cancer and wrote a story that will be posted at SF Bay View either tonight or tomorrow. He needs all his supporters to call the Virginia authorities and urge that he begin treatment immediately.

On May 16, 2022, Dr. Mutulu Shakur was denied mandatory parole by the U.S. Parole Commission.
This is the ninth time Dr. Shakur has been denied parole by the USPC, and the second time he has been denied mandatory parole.
